HOSPITALIST ATTENDING PHYSICIAN NEEDED

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Attending Physician for all patients admitted to the hospitalist service. Responsible for daily rounding on medical, surgical, ICU and CCU patients. Performs admission histories and physical exams. Also provides medical consultations to patients on the surgical service and in the emergency room. Provider is rapid response and cold blue team leader.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine Inpatient experience

• Ability to place central lines and intubate
• ACLS certification
• New York State license
